Madinah Day Nursery is a privately run nursery supervised by qualified staff .We are situated within the Wigan district of Greater Manchester, which is approximately 2 kilometres outside Leigh town centre, (see Location for more details).
Our prime aim is to establish a happy secure environment, in which children may develop lively inquisitive minds, enlarging their imaginations and experiences through play, art, craft, language and music.
We cater for babies from 0 - 1 & children between 2 - 5 years and can provide full-time or part-time places to suit any parents individual needs. We have after school pick up and holiday care from 4 - 11 year olds
Our opening hours are 7:30a.m to 6.30p.m. Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. We are closed all bank holidays and for 1 week at Christmas.
Madinah Nursery comprises of a large converted Methodist Church. We have a large car park, a newly created outdoor garden & play area that has both hard & soft surfaces. Indoors we have a newly decorated baby room, toddler area, upper toddler area and pre-school room. On the first floor we have The Rascals After school and holiday room which doubles as a staff room and office, when not used by children. Our lower toddler room now has a sensory light room, which all the nursery children enjoy using. Once a week the pre-school children have lessons at the local swimming baths. Madinah is one of the few nurseries that employs a qualified teacher full time on site.
